have seventeen years executive and political experience in the Public Sector. During my tenure as Chief of Staff in the Political office of the Premier some of my key achievements include:
- Member of the Northern Cape Fifa 2010 World Cup delegation to lobby for the Uraguay National Team to set up base camp in Kimberley, Northern Cape.
- Appointed by Premier Jenkins to head Northern Cape delegation consisting of Senior Officials to the Singapore/ South African Trade and Investment conference.
- Appointed by Premier Hazel Jenkins, to head the Northern Cape Provincial Government delegation, consisting of senior officials from various Departments, to brief ambassadors designate at DIRCO on investment and related opportunities that are available in the Northern Cape.
- Headed the study group to Armenia, to look into best practice examples of their diamond industry.
- Member of the Study mission to Helsinki, Finland to assess the Finnish Information Society Model.
- During my term and current work at the Department of Roads and Public works duties include:
- The 4th Public Sector Trainers Forum Conference Achiever’s Excellence Award where the Northern Cape Department of Roads and Public Works received an award for excellence in youth development training, under the EPWP programme, Phakamile Mabija Artisan Development Programme.
- member on the Provincial Planning Team in relation to Economic Development in the Office of the Premier.
- During my term as the Acting Head of Department for Roads and Public Works, I successfully administered The Northern Cape Infrastructure Summit from the 2 December - 6 December 2021 which was conducted through a Hybrid platform.
- My roles and responsibilities at the Department of Roads and Public Infrastructure are amongst others:
Monitor and exercise control over infrastructure projects within the districts of the Northern Cape Province
: Monitor and "Hands "on approach to infrastructure projects which includes Roads projects.
:contract management (which can be unpacked in relation to various types of large scale infrastructure projects)
- Completed United Nations The Hague Immersion Learning Programme in International law and diplomacy.
